They are highly qualified professionals, with either a Masters or PhD in their fields of study. Each tutor we hire is subjected to an interview and security clearance.
In addition, we will complete an evaluation of each child to determine their learning style and temperament to ensure they are matched to a tutor who can help them learn in a manner most productive and comfortable. We will provide a unique and customizable tutoring experience for all students of any grade level.

Indika Pathirana, B.Sc, M.Sc, PhD
Indika possesses a Doctorate in Physics (PhD) as well as a M.Sc. in Medical Physics. He has been sharing his knowledge through teaching and tutoring at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has worked in this capacity in the United Kingdom, Finland, Italy, Poland and Canada for over 11 years. In his spare time, he also enjoys photography and flying light aircraft.
Mitchell Bently, B.Sc.
3rd Class Power Engineer
Mitchell is another outstanding tutor in LEAD Academy. He completed B.Sc. in Petroleum System Engineering at University of Regina, Canada. Also, he holds Power Engineering credentials from Alberta Boiler Association (ABSA). Mitchell has an outstanding academic background and was awarded with Alexander Rutherford Scholarship. He excellent in teaching the students of all ages.
Damith Wijendra, B.Sc, M.Sc
An extensively trained professional teacher/instructor. Holds M.Sc. in Civil Eng. through University of West London (UK) and M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from University of Greenwich (UK). Damith always use an at-home study plan in addition to classroom assessments. He has a true passion for education and earnest desire to help students succeed.
Indeewarie Weerakoon, MBBS
Has a MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery) degree and has been tutoring/mentoring students over last six years. Her experience is in the areas of Biology, Physiology, Pharmacology and Anatomy. She is passionate about working with students & helping them improve their educational experience.
Stanley Ismaillar, BSc
2nd Class Power Engineer
Stanley holds a Bachelor’s degree with a Physics major and, Mathematics and Computer Science minor. He completed his graduate studies in Geophysics at Uppsala University in Sweden.
Currently working as a 2nd Class Power Engineer in Steam and Power Generation with over 4 years of experience. Stanley is very passionate about Power Plant process operations and optimization.
